The first nations did ceremonies for almost every week of the summer to celebrate natures weather that it provides for us. If an eagle weather falls off a first nations dancer during a dance, the dance is stopped and then they start another one. They do this because and eagle feather is very sacred to them. The summer solstice, the longest day of the year, has a cultural significance to the first nations people. They celebrate this by doing traditional dances and having a festival with traditional food. An instrument the first nations people people use in almost any celebration is the drums. Another celebration is that the first nations people have an annual celebration of spring. They do this because they annouce the new life in nature and gives thanks for sharing the rebirth of their land. The main reason why they always do these traditional celebrations is that the believed in many myths and legends they created about nature. Those are the first nation celebrations.
